Stark Raving Sane: The Complete Guide to Healthy Bipolar Relationships
When I decided to write this book, I knew I was ready.
I already had a popular YouTube channel where I helped thousands of people dealing with the bipolar condition, and the feedback has always been amazing. Probably one of the most fulfilling things I have ever done in my life. (search Bipolar Relationships on YouTube)
But I knew writing a book would be different. It would be a chance to hone and crystalize my thoughts and express myself more concisely.
You can feel the authenticity in my videos, which has led to the channel growing to over 10,000 subscribers. Still, sometimes my excitement for teaching and sharing leaves me a bit unorganized.
Now is my chance to fix that with a book to complement the channel. I also recognize that some folks love to read.
In addition to this, books lend more authority these days. I want you or your loved one to be able to give this book as a gift, with confidence, to someone that needs to hear the message that:
You can have a successful relationship with bipolar.
How this book is setup
I've broken down this book into chapters, and each of those chapters covers a unique problem or symptom of being bipolar and how Bridget and I handled it within our relationship.
Bridget is bipolar, along with a few of her family members, so our combined experience is far and wide.
I'm not a big reader, but this book will be big enough to satisfy the most avid reader. It will also be an easy enough read to keep the attention of someone like myself.
I'll jump around from problem to problem, symptom to symptom, and give you context from our relationship related to the subject. Each chapter will have an actionable step that you can take immediately to help your relationship.
You'll also be able to skip ahead to chapters you need help with the most. You can leave the book on the coffee table and come back to it as needed.
Our story will resonate with you, and we hope it will give you the courage to persevere in the relationship or, sometimes, to separate.
After reading my book, we would like to hear from you, whether in our private Facebook group or my YouTube channel comments. OUR relationship doesn't end here with this book.
